Shreveport Implementation and Development Authority – Frank Thaxton, III Visit Shreveport Bossier Board – Charles Edward Johnson Shreve Memorial Library Board – Josephine B. Wade , Margaret Martin

The City Council will consider the confirmation of four Mayoral appointments to various boards:

• Retired Judge Frank H. Thaxton, III to the Shreveport Implementation and Development Authority for a five-year term beginning December 2025, serving without compensation.
• Mr. Charles Edward Johnson to the Visit Shreveport Bossier Board for a three-year term beginning December 2025, serving without compensation. Mr. Johnson is eligible for reappointment and has served as Board Vice Chairman.
• Ms. Josephine B. Wade to the Shreve Memorial Library Board for a five-year term beginning December 2025, serving without compensation. Ms. Wade is a retired Liberian and Program Director for Literacy Volunteers.
• Mrs. Margaret ‘Maggy” Martin to the Shreve Memorial Library Board for a five-year term beginning December 2025, serving without compensation. Mrs. Martin is a long-life resident and journalist.
