Consideration of appointing a Special Commissioner to advertise for proposals for the lease of office space, approximately 400 square feet in size, located in the Joe Faggard Building, located on Bolivar Peninsula to a Chamber of Commerce submitted by Legal Services Manager

The Galveston County Commissioners' Court has appointed Elizabeth Robertson as a Special Commissioner to oversee the advertisement and public auction for the lease of approximately 400 square feet of office space in the Joe Faggard Building located at 1750 SH 87 on Bolivar Peninsula. The Bolivar Peninsula Chamber of Commerce has expressed interest in leasing this space for their activities. The minimum acceptable bid for the lease is $150.00 per month. The Special Commissioner is required to publish notice of the auction for three consecutive weeks prior to the auction date. The Commissioners' Court reserves the right to reject any unreasonable offers.
