Office of Homeless Solutions Program Report

Summary

This report details the expansion of shelter bed capacity by the Office of Homeless Solutions. In 2022, 592 new beds were added across several providers including Human Services Campus, Washington Relief Center, CASS, and CBI. In 2023, an additional 482 temporary beds were added, though some of these were noted as closed. For 2024, 370 new beds have been added or are planned, with providers like Phoenix Navigation Center, St. Vincent de Paul, CBI, and UMOM. Looking ahead to 2025, 380 beds are expected to be added by CASS, Phoenix Navigation Center, and CBI, with specific opening dates for some. Future plans include additional beds and units from Salvation Army and Senior Bridge, with estimated open dates TBD.
