Public Participation
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.3, members of the public may address the Library Board on any agenda items or matters within the jurisdiction of the governing body by using any of the following methods:

This item presents the Orange Public Library's (OPL) "Statistics at a Glance" report for December 2025, alongside a general update on library services from the Library Services Director. The report highlights key performance metrics:
- Library Visits: 18,921 in Dec '25, a decrease from 22,771 in Nov '25 and 22,530 in Dec '24.
- Library Cards Issued: 310 in Dec '25, a decrease from 467 in Nov '25 and 601 in Dec '24.
- Website Visits: 55,716 in Dec '25, a decrease from 63,091 in Nov '25 but an increase from 55,059 in Dec '24.

Additionally, the report notes that all libraries will operate under new hours beginning January 20, 2025. The recommended action is to receive and file this report.
Citizen Impact
Residents can review library usage statistics, including decreases in physical visits and items borrowed in December 2025 compared to previous periods. New library operating hours will take effect in January 2025.
