The Department of Health is seeking authorization to enter into an agreement with Approved Storage & Waste Hauling, Inc. for regulated infectious medical, pharmaceutical, and hazardous waste removal and disposal services. This agreement will cover the period from May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2029, with a total not-to-exceed amount of $30,000. The services are necessary to ensure the proper and timely disposal of waste generated from County Health Department clinics and other sites. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) was issued, and Approved Storage & Waste Hauling, Inc. was the sole respondent, with rates of $50.00 per medical waste pick-up and $75.00 per pharmaceutical waste pick-up. The funding will be allocated across several accounts, with $17,280 from Tax Dollars, $9,720 from State Aid, and $3,000 from Other sources.
