This project involves the removal and installation of playground equipment, excavation, asphalt pavement, porous asphalt pavement, storm sewer, landscaping, pavement marking, and electrical work at Rogers Park, located at 2023 South 75th Street. Funding for the improvements will come from a combination of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds, MMSD Grant Funds, Bond Funds, and Cash reserves.

While Property Solutions Contracting LLC was the lowest bidder, the Engineering Department noted a significant difference between their bid and the next lowest bidder ($146,855). Correspondence with previous clients indicated that while the work was completed, the contractor required careful supervision and frequently requested extra costs. The Common Council ultimately approved the bid, with the resolution passing on January 20, 2026.
