Summary

This resolution establishes the 2026 Sanitary Sewer User Charge for the portion billed by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD). The City of West Allis is passing on increased fees from MMSD for sewage treatment and conveyance. The new quarterly rates, effective January 1, 2026, are:

  • Residential-Single Family: $48.10
  • Residential-Duplex: $79.60
  • Commercial, Industrial, Gov’t: $16.55 per connection, plus $2.36 per hundred cubic feet (ccf) of water used.

Utility Billing Staff are directed to notify all users of this rate increase. The resolution was adopted by the West Allis Common Council on December 9, 2025.
