The privilege holder assumes primary liability for damages, must remove the obstruction upon 10 days' notice, and waives the right to contest the validity of the statute or compensation. An annual proof of insurance and a $0 bond are required. The compensation for this privilege is $50.00, to be paid annually into the general fund. The resolution also specifies that the holder is not entitled to damages for removal and that removal costs can be placed as a special tax on the property if not paid by the holder.
