The Community Development Authority of the City of West Allis has approved Resolution No. 1530, formally dissolving Tax Incremental District Number Seven (Summit Place). This district was initially created in February 2004 under Resolution No. 2004-0037. The dissolution is based on Wisconsin Statute 66.1105(8), which allows for dissolution when sufficient tax increments have been collected to cover all project costs. As of the 2025 tax roll (payable 2026), the district has met this financial threshold. The City will notify the Wisconsin Department of Revenue by April 15, 2026, and any excess increment collected after covering ongoing expenses will be distributed to the affected taxing districts.
