RES 160 Authorizing the Mayor to execute a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement between the City of Shreveport and teh Downtown Development Authority and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. (A/Taylor, B/ Brooks)

This resolution authorizes the Mayor of Shreveport to execute a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement (CEA) with the Downtown Development Authority (DDA). This agreement allows the DDA to provide annual services to Downtown Shreveport in 2026. The City Council is recommended to adopt the resolution. The agreement is funded by $279,830 from the General Fund. The resolution is sponsored by Councilmembers A/Taylor and B/Brooks. Introduction is scheduled for December 18, 2025, with final passage anticipated on January 13, 2026.
