RES 151 Recognizing the Zonta Club of Shreveport, and otherwise providing with respect thereto (D/Boucher)

This resolution formally recognizes the Zonta Club of Shreveport for its ongoing contributions to the community. The Zonta Club of Shreveport, established in 1941 as part of Zonta International, is dedicated to advancing the mission of building a better world for women and girls. Locally, the club provides scholarships, sponsors Z Clubs in high schools, advocates for women's issues, and honors local women. They also support organizations such as Project Celebration, Inc., the Caddo Council on Aging, Hope House, and the Ronald McDonald House through events like the Zonta Zoom 5K/Fun Run.
