The Board of Supervisors is asked to approve the use of $41,500 in Community Improvement Designation (CID) funds from the General Fund for ten different organizations in District 3. The funds will support various community programs and events for the 2025-2026 fiscal year.

Allocations include:

• City of Temecula: $2,500 for the Special Games event for athletes with disabilities.
• Riverside County District Attorney’s Office - Division of Victim Services: $3,000 for National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.
• MilVet: $2,500 for the MilVet Honors Fundraiser & Gala, supporting care packages for troops, a veteran food pantry, and veteran services.
• Murrieta Valley Cemetery District: $10,000 for the construction of the Laurel Cemetery Remembrance Point.
• Riverside County Office of Child Abuse Prevention: $5,000 to support the Prevention Summit 2025-2026.
• Rock Your Red: $2,000 for the Heart and Stroke Awareness Program, offering CPR training and seminars.
• Riverside University Health System Foundation: $2,500 for the Pinwheels for Prevention program, providing essential items for foster children.
• Riverside County Department of Public Social Services: $4,000 to support the 2026 Elder and Dependent Adult Abuse Symposium.
• Ca District 28 Little League: $5,000 for youth participation scholarships and equipment.
• Riverside County Youth Commission: $5,000 to support the 28th Annual Youth Summit.
