The Passaic County Board of County Commissioners is authorizing the purchase of real property interests for the Replacement of High Mountain Road Culvert No. 1600-338 in North Haledon. This action follows bona fide negotiations as required by N.J.S.A. 20:3-6. An appraisal was conducted by Wade Appraisal, LLC. The County has made a written offer of $11,000 to 635 High Mountain, LLC for a 374 square foot permanent easement. The property owner has accepted this offer. Funds are available in appropriation accounts C-04-55-105-001-902 and C-04-55-148-001-9B1, subject to future budget appropriations. This matter was discussed by the Public Works Committee on January 28, 2025.
