RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SETTLEMENT OF LITIGATION ENTITLED GLENN SARRA V. COUNTY OF PASSAIC, ET AL., PAS-L-3326-23, PENDING IN THE PASSAIC COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A:5-17(a)

This resolution authorizes the settlement of the litigation case Glenn Sarra v. County of Passaic, et al., PAS-L-3326-23, pending in the Passaic County Superior Court. The County Board of Commissioners is authorized to approve the settlement agreement, as recommended by the Passaic County Counsel and discussed by the Insurance Commission. Funds for the settlement will be made available through the 2026 and/or subsequent County budget(s), subject to certification by the Chief Financial Officer. The Clerk of the Board, County Counsel, County Administrator, Chief Financial Officer, and Director of the Board are authorized to take necessary actions to implement this settlement.
