RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 FOR NEW PRINCE CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. FOR THE OLDHAM ROAD (C.R. 685) IMPROVEMENTS FROM PREAKNESS AVENUE (C.R. 666) TO PATERSON HAMBURG TURNPIKE/CENTRAL AVENUE (C.R. 673), PER BID C-25-004, N.J.A.C. 5:30-11.3 ET SEQ.

This resolution authorizes Change Order No. 2 for the Oldham Road (C.R. 685) Improvements project, impacting the section from Preakness Avenue (C.R. 666) to Paterson Hamburg Turnpike/Central Avenue (C.R. 673). The change order, awarded to New Prince Concrete Construction Company, Inc., increases the total contract amount by $308,719.49. This brings the new total contract value to $13,138,016.44, representing a 2.65% increase from the original contract amount. The additional costs are attributed to supplemental items such as railing and fencing installation, and increases in the quantity of 24" ductile iron pipe and manhole castings. Funds are available in appropriation account G-01-45-700-025-911, with certification from the Director of Finance dated January 27, 2026. The contractor has also certified non-involvement in prohibited activities related to Russia or Belarus and no investment activities in Iran.
