The Orange County Board of County Commissioners is amending and restating the Stoneybrook Hills Master Roads 11/2025 Municipal Service Benefit Unit (MSBU) for streetlighting. This amendment will include Foothills of Mount Dora Phase 4-2 subdivision, adding 101 lots to the existing MSBU, bringing the total to 1191 lots. The purpose is to provide for the collection and disbursal of funds for the operation and maintenance of streetlighting equipment, including energy charges and fixtures. The estimated annual assessment for streetlighting will be $54.00 per lot, effective November 1, 2026. The revised inventory includes 120 - 50 watt LED fixtures, 65 - 16 foot victorian II single gray poles, 47 - 16 foot washington single black poles, and 4 - 16 foot victorian II dual black poles. The total estimated annual cost for operating, maintaining, and administering the streetlighting equipment is $64,314.00.
