This item concerns Phase 6 of the Cannonball Path project, specifically focusing on the segment along the Fish Hatchery Road Right-of-Way (ROW). The project aims to improve pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure. Key elements include:

• New Signal: A new traffic signal will be added at the Carver Street & Fish Hatchery Road intersection to accommodate diagonal bike crossings.
• Path Modifications: The existing on-street bike lane will be removed and replaced with a shared-use, off-street path (9-ft wide) with a 4-ft terrace. The sidewalk on the back-side will be widened to 8-9 ft.
• Bridge Work: A new bike-pedestrian bridge will be constructed over Wingra Creek. The existing Fish Hatchery Roadway bridge will remain as-is.
• Utility Adjustments: Sidewalks and terraces will be replaced and regraded, with work to address erosion issues from school parking lot runoff.
• Connectivity: The path will connect to the existing Wingra Creek Path. The intersection of Wingra Drive & Fish Hatchery Road will not be modified in this phase, as it is part of a future resurfacing project.
