Approval of Environmental Quality and Public Works Committee Summary

This item is the approval of the summary for the March 11, 2025, Environmental Quality and Public Works (EQPW) Committee meeting. The meeting included several updates and discussions:

• Energy Initiatives: Reviewed utility expenses, FY25 solar projects with estimated savings of nearly $8,000 annually, and an upcoming RFP for the Police East Sector. The Police West Sector Training Center project showed a year 1 cost savings of $4,547 and used 71% solar energy.
• Pavement Management Plan: Discussed updates to the plan, budget allocation by road class, and the paving calendar. Coordination with utility projects and future software integration were highlighted.
