This project aims to address increased vehicle, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic from new residential and commercial developments, and will also resolve a long-standing drainage issue on the east side of the Pecan Park Road and Main Street intersection.

Both projects are incorporated into the 2026-2030 Five-Year Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which is amended by this ordinance. Oversight for these projects will be provided by the Engineering and Construction Management Division of the Department of Public Works.

Residents will experience improved traffic flow and safety at the Dunn Avenue and Braddock Road intersection due to new signalization and turn lanes.
