The Glendale City Council is considering two motions related to the Water Master Plan (WMP) update. The first motion is to note and file the completed Water Master Plan update. The second motion authorizes the City Manager to execute an amendment to the existing Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Arcadis U.S., Inc. for an additional $127,211. This brings the total contract not-to-exceed amount to $1,324,103. The additional funds are for Arcadis to provide further services in developing a comprehensive Water Master Plan, which includes expanded technical tasks, data management, alternative water supply coordination, and community outreach. The WMP analyzes Glendale's water and recycled water systems, including infrastructure condition, supply assessment, and capital improvement planning. The existing PSA with Arcadis was for $1,196,892. Funding for the amendment is approved within the FY 2025-2026 budget from the Water Works Revenue Fund.
