Consideration to award ITB 25-077, Mobile Restroom Trailers

The County of Galveston is considering awarding Invitation to Bid (ITB) 25-077 for the purchase of mobile restroom trailers. The bids were opened on December 22, 2025, with nine companies submitting proposals. The recommendation is to award the contract to Comforts of Home Services, Inc., the lowest responsive bidder, for $114,886.60. Williams Scotsman, Inc. submitted a lower bid but was deemed non-responsive due to incomplete documentation. These trailers will replace existing mobile restrooms used by the public on the Bolivar Peninsula during the beach season, from March through September.
