Consideration for approval to eliminate paid parking for employees and adopt a Parking Plan for 722 Moody Courthouse, submitted by Human Resources

This agenda item proposes to eliminate paid parking for employees at the 722 Moody Courthouse and adopt a new Parking Plan. The plan outlines the allocation of parking spaces across three areas: Lot A (14 spaces + 2 rear open spaces) for Department Heads/Elected Officials/Maintenance Vehicles, Lot B (46 spaces including 6 handicapped) for the General Public, and the Parking Garage (181 spaces including 7 handicapped) for County Vehicles and County Employees. Lot A will be reserved for specific high-level officials and facilities vehicles. Lot B is designated exclusively for visitors and customers, with no employee parking allowed. The Parking Garage will have reserved spaces for IT, Custodial, Mental Health Public Defender, Tax Office, and Facilities vehicles, with the remaining first and second floors open to all County employees, and the third floor reserved for Sheriff's vehicles.
