Contract Amendment No. 2 / Environmental Services Water & Gas Monitoring / M & D Environmental Services, LLC

This document is Contract Amendment No. 2 for Environmental Services Water and Gas Monitoring Services between DeSoto County and M&D Environmental Services, LLC. The amendment extends the original contract, which began on January 14, 2022, for a second and final one-year renewal period. This extension will be through January 25, 2027. The original contract had an initial three-year term with options for two additional one-year renewals. The first renewal was exercised through Contract Amendment No. 1, extending the contract through January 25, 2026. This second amendment utilizes the final renewal option. The amendment also includes price adjustments as detailed in "Exhibit A", which notes a slight increase of $94.67 per quarter for quarters 2 and 4 of 2026 due to lab analysis fee increases for groundwater samples. The total proposed cost for this renewal period is $47,080.03.
