CONSIDER RESOLUTION NO. 2025-R88; A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOERNE, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONTRACT WITH ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENTS, INC. TO REPLACE ONE CLARIFIER ASSEMBLY AT THE OLD SAN ANTONIO ROAD WASTEWATER TREATMENT AND RECYCLING CENTER (WWTRC) FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $130,000.

The City of Boerne is considering a resolution to authorize the City Manager to contract with Environmental Improvements, Inc. for the replacement of one clarifier assembly at the Old San Antonio Road Wastewater Treatment and Recycling Center (WWTRC). The contract amount is not to exceed $130,000. The scope of work includes removing the old drive mechanism, inspecting the basin, installing a new drive, reconnecting electrical wiring, and startup. The process is expected to take approximately 12 days to complete, with equipment delivery estimated at 10-12 weeks after ordering. Environmental Improvements, Inc. is an authorized distributor and service provider for Evoqua Water Technologies, LLC, which manufactures the Envirex® Type H Tow-Bro® clarifier drive.
