The Department of Public Works recommends awarding the 2026 Materials Testing & Contaminated Soils Contract (M-26) to Westwood Infrastructure, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $100,000. This contract is a continuation of services approved in January 2024, with Westwood Infrastructure, Inc. having demonstrated satisfactory performance in 2025. The scope of work includes material testing (concrete, asphalt, soils), contaminated material response and analysis, styrene testing, and environmental/geotechnical investigations. Funding for these services is allocated within individual project budgets, and actual expenditures will be based on services performed, potentially falling below the awarded maximum. A contract amendment will be sought if additional funding is required.
