Councilor Ryti submitted a report detailing activities and affiliations with various organizations from November and December 2025. Key activities include:

  • MainStreet Futures: Accreditation renewed; planning for events like Winter Fest and the Metropolitan Redevelopment Area application.
  • Energy Communities Alliance (ECA): Reviewed invoices and expenses. The 10th anniversary of the Manhattan Project National Historical Park was postponed. ECA focuses on securing funding for environmental cleanup and productive re-use, and developing resources on nuclear energy and waste repositories.
  • National Association of Counties (NACo): Ryti serves as Vice Chair of the Environment, Energy, and Land Use (EELU) Policy Committee, participating in discussions on energy needs, data centers, and sustainability. Ryti is also a member of the Resilient Counties Initiative.
  • New Mexico Counties (NMC): Ryti is on the Board of Directors, voting on legislation and approving recommendations for state law changes. A workshop on "Nuclear Energy Opportunities for New Mexico" is planned.
  • New Mexico Counties Insurance Authority (NMCIA) Board: Los Alamos County's worker's compensation insurance is through NMCIA. The board approves financial statements and reviews legislation.
  • New Mexico Municipal League Self-Insurers Fund Board of Trustees (NMML SIF BOT): Ryti is elected to this board, which meets quarterly to review policy updates, initiatives, financials, and rate schedules. Los Alamos County is a founding member.
  • Coalition of Sustainable Communities New Mexico (CSCNM) Executive Board: Involved in restructuring and reviewing legislation relevant to sustainability initiatives.
  • Technical Work Group (TWG): No meetings were held in October, November, or December for discussions on environmental cleanup in Los Alamos.
